* Please note, if you prefer a guided tour over a virtual or self-guided tour, there are a few policies we have set in place for everyone’s protection:

-No more than 4 people in your group to tour
-Masks are required through the duration of your visit (ages 10+), we ask that you provide your own

Enjoy Theater and More at This Performing Arts Center in Virginia Beach

Whether you enjoy listening to music or watching ballet, head to Chrysler Hall. Nestled in nearby Norfolk, it's home to organizations that will keep you keep you entertained from beginning to end. Here is some of what this performing arts center has to offer near our apartments in Virginia Beach:

Norfolk Forum 

Established in 1933, the Norfolk Forum began during the Great Depression when a small group of residents wanted to learn more about the events of the time. They started a public lecture series, and the tickets for the first season cost only a dollar for four speakers. Today, the Norfolk Forum is the country's oldest publicly-subscribed speakers' forum. Speakers include war correspondents, humorists, and heads of state.

Virginia Arts Festival 

The Virginia Arts Festival is the largest performing arts organization in southeastern Virginia. It's known for transforming the region's cultural scene and has presented numerous regional and world premieres. The Virginia Arts Festival offers over 250 performances every season. You can watch dance troupes, take in a musical performance, and much more. 

Virginia Symphony Orchestra 

At the center of the Hampton Roads art community, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra has been entertaining audiences for 100 years. The musicians come from near and far. They play a wide range of instruments and perform everything from the pops to the classics. Music Director Eric Jacobsen is one of the most innovative young conductors today. He's known for offering fresh takes on traditional pieces. When Eric isn't conducting, he's a dedicated chamber musician. 

For another way to have fun, head to Atlantic Avenue. It's a hub of entertainment in addition to this awesome performing arts center in Virginia Beach.
